My Friends At The Doggy Park

Hello, this is a new and fun way to find ways to meet other Dog lovers, this blog is being set up to post dog parks and to find people to dog parks together for safe fun with you and your dogs. To post a comment you may click on the comments below or you may join our group at :

and to find other partners for dog walking, dog walkers, dog sitters, and just about anything for dogs, give it some time as this site is very new so spread the word about this site and the google group and if you have any questions please e-mail us at pooperbunches@gmail.com a funny nick name for my dog Jessica who seems to poop more than anything! Jefferson County Doggy Parks = Off the Leash

Evergreen: Elk Meadow State Park 1.25 miles West of HWY 74 at the South gate entrance to Elk Meadow Open Space Park
Golden: Tony Grapsas Memorial Sports Complex on West 44th Ave. and Salvia St.
Lakewood: Forsburg park, 16200 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood Co 80228
Litteton: Chatfield State Park, 11599 N. Roxborough Rd., at C470 and Wadsworth, Cost $5.00 per car to get into the park and your blue windshield tag is good til noon the next day!
Westminster: Colorado Hills Open Space Park, West 105th Ave. and Simms St.
Broomfield: Take I-25 to 12oth and go west on 120th to Lowell, go north on Lowell to 132nd, or go north on Sheridan until 13th st. from hwy 36 (120th and Lowell or so - Thank you Elaine Jones.

A few doggy things to remember

While you are at the doggy park remember to have respect for other people, pick up after your dog, do not smoke around other people, keep a clean mouth as their are children and adults who do not want to hear a bad mouth, if your dog starts to get aggressive with other dogs then pull them away right away, make sure that your dog can be called back to you as some dog parks it is law, remember to put a leash on when your doggy is no longer in the doggy park, if your doggy is in heat please be respectful to make sure that he/she isn't mating with anyone elses doggy - it may just be safer to wait it out before bringing your doggy to the park, when it gets dark other animals come out like mountain lions and bears so bring in your doggy before they become a doggy bag for some large animals take out, Please help keep our perks clean of litter if you smoke please put your smoking material in the trash and not on the ground.
